Wish & Vow started with a familiar problem: the blank text box. Someone we love is getting married, celebrating twenty years together, or turning another year older, and the cursor just blinks. Every wish we typed sounded like it came off a card rack, not from us.

So we started writing our own. A few of us — friends who’d been each other’s maid of honor, best man, and wedding-toast ghostwriter more times than we can count — began collecting the lines that actually got used. The ones read out loud at rehearsal dinners. The ones copied into anniversary cards at midnight. The ones texted to a sister before her vow renewal because nothing in the store aisle felt honest enough.

That collection became Wish & Vow. We write wedding wishes, anniversary messages, birthday lines for spouses, and the small paragraphs people need for toasts, captions, and cards — sorted by mood, so you can find something short and sincere or funny and true, without wading through a hundred quotes that all sound the same.

We’re not poets and we don’t pretend to be. We’re the people you’d actually ask to help write your card, because we’ve been asked before and we’re decent at it. Every piece we publish gets read out loud before it’s posted — if it sounds stiff or generic, it doesn’t make the cut.
